Greetings and salutations, my name is Courtney and I'm here for mostly the same reason as you. Corporations are controlling this country and politicians, people we have elected, do absolutely nothing about it. In fact, they help it so these corporations will give them more money. And it doesn't matter who you're talking about-- republicans, democrats, independents, Obama-- they all take. So basically, I want corporations out of our government. They are NOT people. They shouldn't be allowed to give candidates unlimited amounts of money. They shouldn't be bailed out when they ruin our country's economy. It's time for Washington and Wall St. to be liable to the only people who matter: us. And ya know, I'm not a big fan of this whole "99%" thing. I don't believe in excluding anybody from what we're trying to do. We, together as an entire country, have to change things.
On that note, I'm willing to do whatever needs to be done. I live in East Nashville and I can do whatever. I'd love to be on a team of some sort. I'm willing to make and put up flyers, call whoever, anything. Let me know what I can do for the cause.
