If you phoned Brookfield yesterday, I recommend you phone again and say you're pleased with this outcome. Positive reinforcement people! The position up there is still precarious.

A BRIEF thank you to the New York City Complaint line might also be nice: (212) NEW-YORK--that's (212) 639-9675. Courtesy of MoveOn.org.

RE: BRIEF Thank You
NYC Complaint line (212-639-9675) suggested that Thank You messages can be
EMAILED to the Mayor's office via their Contact Form:
http://www.nyc.gov/portal/site/nycgov/menuitem.bd08ee7c7c1ffec87c4b36d501c789a0/index.jsp?doc_name=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nyc.gov%2Fhtml%2Fmail%2Fhtml%2Fmayor.html
OR
TEXTED to 311-692
I think that the more brief positive feedback they get, the more likely they are to continue working peacefully with OWS. And, just think: millions of polite Thank You's might finally compel the press to report some GOOD news for once :-)
