PROPOSAL FOR OCCUPY NASHVILLE STATEMENT ON SJR0221, THE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT TO BAN AN INCOME TAX IN TENNESSEE:
Occupy Nashville opposes the proposed constitutional amendment that would prohibit the general assembly and all local governments from imposing an income tax (SJR0221) and inviteds our fellow citizens and occupy groups from across the state to join in our expression of opposition at the state capitol on Jan. 10th, 2012

Occupy Nashville General Assembly has come to agreement through the proposal process that all tangible donations given to the movement are to remain on the plaza at all times. Therefore donations are not to be removed at any time by by any individual for personal use under any circumstances. A working group of 2 or more members however can Check Out and donated materials for use in meetings, actions, outreach planning, etc. and are to return it to the plaza immediately after. Therefore no one person can remove any donated object at any time for personal use without the approval of Occupy Nashville General Assembly through the proposal process.
