The Tennessean and Nashville Public Radio are working on a story regarding ON’s finances.
This week, $907 in donations
Logistics does have a budget, but it was a one-time request of $500 and they haven’t asked for more
During the last week of the month, all working groups need to come forward and announce how their funds were used.
3 ways to give – cash, check, or online. If cash, the policy is for the donor to put the donation directly into the lockbox. No one is authorized to take the donation. 2 individuals have the keys to the lockbox on the plaza, both are responsible.
All expenditures will go through the GA’s proposal process.
Due to low attendance, the GA moved to a working group format for one hour. Allt hose present discussed direct action.
Topics discussed were a Caterpillar protest pros and cons, a report from Occupy Murfreesboro, and reflections on the Abandoned building protest on Saturday.
Elli, Jeanie and Clay made closing remarks.
