Make them secure a spot at the shelter for the night. (Of course now that it is warming might not be as hard to do)
Make them go to a church a ask / receive some food.
They could sell a homeless newspaper to someone passing in a car at a stoplight.
Try to use a bathroom in a public place.
Try to get money for sweeping a parking lot of a business.
Take a nap in a public space.
