Introductions / Re: The Redneck Cometh

We do find shared values don't we?  I'm an uber-liberal Jew who didn't vote for Obama. He doesn't know the first thing...about anything. @ least as a nurse I knew he didn't know anything about health care. And now that he has gotten his wealthy share and is popular, what will he do for the People?  Michelle was an attorney for University of Chicago Hospital and got huge raises when he became congressman, senator. Didn't that raise a red flag? The hospital attorney is the corporate/institutional attorney who keeps payments down to patients re malpractice and staff re worker's rights?

So do we agree we all want to keep money out of politics?  End corporate personhood and everyone actually play by the rules? Another nurse lost her family home to foreclosure this week.  It had already happened so I couldn't help stop it like I have the last four. I just learned of more Bof A abuses financially of professional organizations and sponsored credit card sales to members. Bof A pulled the plug on shared revenue and now some groups face critical budgetary shortfalls...despite agreements made, BofA now says, read the print on the contract, it's legal.

I agree with LJ & Elli.  I think each of us should either be willing to go or willing to sacrifice and let someone else go...each way, it's an honor.

"We are as much citizens of this country as they were and have an even greater right to determine its future than great men long dead."

Josh, these words are so powerful. I can live on these alone for days, weeks.

There are some great folks in Johnson City and I am certain the energy that has fueled your urban health care clinics will join forces with Occupy Johnson City. Sincere thanks for getting Occupy Nashville off the ground.
